First show...

We had our first show with the 4 pups we wanted to try in the ring. We went to a specialty and these little peanuts were the youngest and smallest, so we didn't fare too well next to some of the heavy-hitters there.

Jack did the best by getting pulled in his 2 puppy classes for a second look and ended up 5th in a class of 9 pups. At least the judge didn't leave him dead last as that's where our random number put us.

Glad you had a good outing! I love showing pups and who cares about placements at their age.

You had 4 show prospects in one litter? Lucky YOU!

I don't know if they ARE show propects, we had one definate "KEEPER"...Jackson. The other boy we kept will be shown a few times just because we can. Sage was the best girl and Juniper the second best. The rest of the pups were definate pet quality, no questions. But I had 2 friends who wanted nice dogs to try showing, so they have my girls on co-owns. No huge expectations...except to have alot of fun.

Jack looks ok in size in that line up and it looks like he moves really nicely! I can't believe how dark Juniper is...very pretty

Everyone loves that DARK color. Ideally, I need to find a boy that produces that dark color consistently with MORE coat and breed him to Juni in 2 years!
