I think he's beautiful!!! I can't wait to see him grow up too!
Thank you for your post and comments, I am hoping that more of you will tell us what you think of our new pup, in terms of conformation. What are his strong points? and week points in your oppinion.
Thank you.
Going by pictures only he is a beautiful pup. Pleanty of substance, nice and short coupled, Nice keel and drop of brisket, looks like a great coat, very well ballanced boy. If I could get my hands on him I would feel for the withers. Pictures can be decieving. His front looks pretty nice but I would want to feel the points. I would want to see if they are directly above the elbow. I would also want to place that rear foot and see if he moves it. The way you have him set up makes him look a bit sickle hocked. How stable are those hocks? Can you get a little more turn of stifle from placing the foot in a more strait up and down hock position? Also are his hocks strait when viewed from behind. I like to view both the front and the rear to see how the assembly is.
Overall he is a nice puppy. I look forward to more pictures of him.
Thank you, that was a picture that the breeder sent us,
now he is almost 10 weeks old, I will try to make new pictures
with him in the next few days. He has superb movement, and rear angulation
update added on the first post. What is your oppinion on his evolution.
He looks like a nice 4 month old puppy.Congrats on the win! I think his tailset is a tad low and he's a tad high in the rear, but that can happen sometimes at this age... Some puppies go through weird stages throughout development. He looks like hes got all the right stuff, bone, substance, and I think with time that rear might get better. He's still a baby and it looks like you are doing great with him... Can't wait to see him as he matures!
