Ava's Optigen results came back today...

I'm very excited!!! And she was extra excited about her piece of steak we celebrated with!!!

Congrats Melissa That is so great because it does allow you to use any stud that you like.

Just wondering how long it took to get your results back? I mailed Stitch's on Wednesday last week and got a conformation that they had received it on Friday last week.

Did you use blood or cheek swap? Did you get results in the mail only or did the also email you the results?

I am also nervously awaiting Stitch's results.

It took about a week to get the email of her results. I haven't gotten the 'hard' copy by mail just yet. I sent blood, which was very easy. We sent three tubes, just in case!!! This was my first Optigen and the vets first in a LONG time. Everything went well I guess... ;D I have been a nervous wreck these last few days waiting to get her results. I had a stud picked out, but he isn't Optigen tested, so I wanted to make sure Ava was a Normal... Yay, so far everything has worked out. Now if when I breed her she gives my a few nice black girls!!! ;D
