I had Remington's hips and elbows xrayed today.
Both are beautiful. I'm so happy. Ruger has really sucky hips (square balls and they only go in the socket half way). Magnum's are marginal as well (round balls at least, and almost 3/4 coverage)
Remington's balls were a perfect fit with damn near full coverage on both. His elbows were also very clean. Now I know what I have underneath so I don't have the worries that I do with my other two as far as competing (agility, obedience) goes.
The vet I went to for the pics does all the OFA shots in this area and he's an ortho guy too, so I'm very pleased with things, but I won't send them in to OFA as I have no plans to breed my boy.
That's great news.
You might want to reword this.Remington's balls were a perfect fit with damn near full coverage on both.

What fantastic news!!! Congratulations!!!What a sigh of relief, eh? I remember when I had Monty's prelims done. I was thrilled to finally have a dog that didn't have hip/elbow dysplasia!
