hi guys, i just joined this site yesterday so that i can learn more about my new puppy which of course is a labrador. I just want to know what is the average heigth and lenght of a 2 month old labrador... im just worrid. thx guys god bless!
I don't think there really is such a thing as average height/length at that age- they are growing in so many strange directions all at once, and every lab and pedigree is a bit different! If you can post photos, maybe we can give you opinions as to whether or not your new puppy looks pretty normal for that age? We love seeing baby pictures!
Funny to see this question as I had someone else's puppy buyer call me last week, they had just picked up an 8 week old puppy....it was 4lbs. This is from a breeder who does all clearances, hasn't shown much lately, has their entire breeding program in a 'fosters home' type of deal and the puppy had passed two vet checks(one was the breeders, the second was the buyers brother who is a DVM). 4lbs is a bit small I think, FYI-the buyer chose the puppy and had a choice....they took this one. I guess as long as the puppy is in good shape/condition for its age, likely up to 12/15lbs is healthy, height/length of body will depend upon type and style of dog.
thx guys.. Im really a newbie in having a dog. Up to know, im still gathering infos as much as possible about stuff like how to take care of my dog, training her, what to feed, and many more. thx...
