Black nose turning brown?

Hi, my dog Reef is now 1 year and 5 months old and her nose is starting to turn from black to brown. Is acceptable at shows for a yellow lab? Is there anything I can do to make it go back to black? Ive heard somewhere that it can be from missing a certain vitamin or mineral, though i cant think which one or if that is even true.

I've seen that
my pup lab has the blackest of black noses and shes yellow
and i saw a guide dog the other day
and his nose was almost pink!?
I would guess its pretty normal?

I need to know if its bad for showing or not and what causes it.

Is this the only Just Labs forum or did it move a while back? If so where did it move to?

It's not uncommon for a yellow's nose to get a little pink in the winter months and go back to more black in the summer. Unless there is very little black left I don't think it's a big deal in the show ring...although it certainly contributes to the "whole package."
